Overview

The Silicom EasyAir™ SWL11 is type II wireless-LAN PC Card that complies with the IEEE802.11b standards. The EasyAir™ SWL11 operates in 2.4 GHz Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) operation for wireless networks

Using the Silicom EasyAir™ SWL11 PC Card, the user can easily send and receive data at speeds up to 11Mbps.

The PC Card allows you to stay continuously connected to your Local Area Network without any wires. Once connected with other networked PC, it allows you to share hard disk drives, DVD drives, CD drives, printers and other network resources.

The EasyAir™ SWL11 can operate in either Ad-Hoc mode (Peer-to-Peer Networking without access point) or Infrastructure mode (Peer-to-Peer Networking with an access point). In infrastructure mode, the EasyAir™ SWL11 can be connected to a wireless broadband residential gateway for high-speed wireless Internet access points. The range coverage per cell for indoor use is 30 to 100 meters and 100 to 300 meters per cell for outdoor use.
