I have Windows 2000/XP and I'm upgrading the PSeries driver to Version 5.06+ or have already installed the hardware, what am I to do? |
| If you have installed a previous version of the PSeries driver or, if the PSeries hardware has already been installed in the PC before the PSeries version 5.06+ drivers have been installed, then it will be necessary to uninstall the previous PSeries drivers and Update the driver Windows is using for the PCMCIA adapter. | |
| Firstly, go to the “Control Panel” and select “Add/Remove Programs”. Select the previous version of the PSeries driver and click “Change/Remove” to uninstall the driver. | |
| Now go to the Windows Device Manager by right clicking “My Computer” and selecting “properties”, select the “Hardware” tab and click “Device Manager”. Then select each PCMCIA adapter, right click on it select “Uninstall” and click “OK” to confirm device removal. (You'll need to do this for each PSeries supported adapter in the PC). | |

You are now be ready to install the latest PSeries drivers, install
them now by executing setup.exe. When the PC restarts, the hardware
will be re-detected and the new drivers will be installed.
Follow the on-screen instructions and once complete you should be able to use your hardware. To verify your installation, you can perform these checks. |
