Description

The SWITCH & SENSE 8 expands the capabilities of desktop personal computers by providing eight isolated AC or DC inputs and eight electromechanical relays in a single USB compatible system. The inputs monitor 24V AC or DC inputs while the output relays provide 6 Amp (Form C, SPDT) outputs at 120VAC or 28VDC. Screw terminals provide easy field wiring to all inputs and outputs.

The Switch & Sense 8 is completely plug-and-play. There are no switches, or jumpers on the board. All board addresses, interrupt channels etc. are set by your computers USB plug-and-play software.

SWITCH & SENSE 8 software provides all of the components necessary to configure, test, and control the device. The interface library, CbUsb.dll, provides a set of functions that can be called from Microsoft Visual Basic or Microsoft Visual C/C++. In addition to the library files, there are several application examples that demonstrate how to use the interface library. A software enabled input filter is available on all channels.
