General

The GT7960 chassis is a fault-resilient, rugged, 19" 5U high rack-mount, PC-compatible chassis presenting a revolutionary breakthrough in the IPC chassis market. Never before has such a complete and flexible enclosure been designed to fit the exact requirements of the harsh industrial environment.

Able to adopt both ISA and PCI CPU cards, the GT7960 integrates a 20-slot PC-bus passive backplane, 300WX2 redundant power supplies, a removable shock-resistant drive bay, and a rugged versatile front panel in a single enclosure. The GT7960's onboard 20 slots can support 14 ISA, 4 PCI and 2 PICMG expansion slots. The special passive backplane features embedded control logic plus temperature and fan detectors.

Four hot swappable fans keep the system within its rated operating temperature range.
Apart from internal features, the GT7960 is equipped with a lockable front door that secures the system from unauthorized access. Front panel LED displays indicate power supply voltages, fans, temperature, and hard drive status. The GT7960 is virtually the ultimate one-step solution for your industrial applications.
